Course Objectives

1) Understanding PBSD Principles Participants will grasp the core principles and philosophies of PBSD, preparing them for effective design and retrofitting. 2) Modeling and Analysis Proficiency Enhanced skills in nonlinear modeling and analysis techniques, familiarizing participants with ASCE 41 and FEMA P-58 for seismic evaluations. 3) Evaluation and Interpretation Skills Ability to evaluate and interpret performance-based seismic assessments, focusing on structural safety and risk management.
